Organisational AI adoption
A coordinated programme of training, change support and advisory for organisations introducing AI. It addresses different staff needs, develops internal champions and connects everyday use with organisational guidance.
How we can help
AI adoption raises different questions across an organisation. Leaders need to understand priorities and responsibilities; managers need to decide where the tools fit; staff need time to practise. This programme brings those needs into one learning and change plan, starting with how people currently work and the guidance already in place.
We combine role-based training with support for internal champions and follow-up activities that help teams apply what they have learned. Policy and governance questions are recorded as use develops, with relevant owners involved in resolving them. The programme is scoped around your starting point, selected workflows and available support, so responsibilities are clear for both participants and the people managing adoption.
When this may be useful
- Some staff are experimenting with AI while others are unsure where to start or which tools and information they may use.
- Your organisation has introduced AI tools and needs a coordinated approach to training, practical support and staff questions.
- Leaders want to extend promising uses across departments while clarifying responsibilities, review practices and policy requirements.
What the work involves
Readiness and audience planning
Review existing use, staff confidence, available tools and organisational guidance. Group participants by role and need, and identify workflows that provide useful starting points for training and discussion.
Role-based learning
Plan sessions for leadership, managers and operational teams as required. Give each audience examples relevant to its decisions and responsibilities, including practical tasks and the checks needed before using an output.
Internal champion support
Help identify staff who can support colleagues, collect questions and share useful examples. Clarify their responsibilities and where to refer technical, policy or information-handling questions that need specialist input.
Reinforcement and governance alignment
Review how staff are applying the learning, discuss barriers and refine guidance with the appropriate owners. Connect emerging uses to the organisation's review, approval and information-management practices.
How the assignment runs
Understand current use
Meet the programme sponsor and relevant teams to review tools, staff needs and guidance. Agree the audiences, priority workflows and programme responsibilities.
Train and support teams
Deliver the agreed learning activities and help internal champions support practical use. Collect feedback on obstacles and questions arising from the exercises.
Review adoption and adjust
Discuss how the learning is being applied, update the support plan and assign outstanding governance or operational questions to the appropriate owners.
What to prepare
These details will help us understand the starting point and agree a useful scope:
- A named programme sponsor and an outline of participating departments
- Details of current AI tools, existing experiments and staff learning needs
- Relevant organisational policies and the owners responsible for technology, people and information
If some information is still being developed, we can discuss what is available in the first conversation.
Questions about this service.
For anything specific to your organisation, get in touch. We can discuss the requirements before you decide on an engagement.
Can the programme begin with one department?
Yes. A defined department or group can provide a manageable starting point. The initial scope should still identify the organisational guidance and support needed, particularly where staff use shared systems or information.
Who should become an internal AI champion?
Look for people who understand their colleagues' work, are willing to practise and can explain ideas clearly. Their role and available time should be agreed, along with a route for referring questions beyond their responsibility.
Does the programme include policy and governance?
It includes aligning adoption activities with guidance and identifying gaps or decisions that need an owner. Where a full AI governance framework or technical implementation is required, that work is defined separately in the engagement scope.
