Our expertise

The right support,
where you need it.

You may be starting a new initiative, taking over a difficult project or improving an established operation. Our services can be commissioned separately or brought together around the work at hand.

Who we work with

Every organisation has its own way of working.

A county programme has different reporting obligations from a growing business. A small project team has different resources from a corporate PMO. We take those differences into account when planning an assignment.

How we work

A clear scope.
A working relationship.

We agree what needs to be done, who will be involved and how you will review the work. The level of support depends on the assignment; the responsibilities are set out before it begins.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Start with the situation

We discuss your objectives, current position and constraints. Relevant documents and conversations with your team help us understand where support would be useful.

A shared understanding of the brief

02 / AGREE

Define the assignment

You receive a proposal with the scope, deliverables, fees and schedule. We agree responsibilities, access requirements and the arrangements for reviewing progress.

A written proposal and delivery plan

03 / DELIVER

Work with your team

We carry out the agreed work and keep you informed at planned review points. Decisions, issues and any changes to scope are recorded as the assignment progresses.

Reviewed work and regular updates

04 / HAND OVER

Prepare for what follows

We review the deliverables together and hand over the relevant documentation, templates or code. Training and follow-up support are included where agreed.

The practice brings together project management, technology implementation and professional education. That combination is useful when an assignment calls for both a change to the way work is managed and the skills to sustain it.

Good to know

A few questions, answered.

For anything specific to your organisation, get in touch. We can discuss the requirements before you decide on an engagement.

What kinds of organisations do you work with?

Our services are designed for businesses, county governments and public agencies, NGOs and donor-funded programmes. We also offer training and coaching for individual professionals. The scope is agreed around the needs and capacity of the team involved.

Can we engage you for one part of a project?

Yes. You may need a planning workshop, an independent review, a particular system or a course for your team. We can agree a focused assignment or discuss ongoing support across several stages of delivery.

How are fees and timelines agreed?

After discussing your requirements, we prepare a proposal covering the work, deliverables, responsibilities, fees and expected schedule. Consultancy can be priced for a defined scope or on a time basis. Any changes are discussed before additional work is agreed.

Do you offer remote support and training?

Yes. Advisory sessions, suitable development work and training can be delivered remotely. Where an assignment needs site visits or in-person workshops, the location and travel arrangements are included in the proposal.

What should we prepare for the first conversation?

A short description of the project or problem is enough to start. It helps to know your intended outcome, current stage, main constraints and any fixed deadlines. You can share relevant documents later, once the scope and appropriate handling arrangements are agreed.

Let’s talk about what you need.

Share a little about your project, the challenge you are facing and where you would like some help.
