Turning ambiguity into delivery.
Good plans are common; delivered ones are not. IvanyConcepts helps public-sector, donor-funded and corporate teams plan, run and actually land complex projects — and build the ICT and AI foundations that keep them running.
Three pillars. Twenty-four ways to move work forward.
A focused consultancy across project delivery, ICT & AI, and capability building. Below are the headline services in each area — open a pillar to see the full set, and every service links to a full explanation of exactly what it involves.
Project Management
End-to-end management of projects and programmes — grounded in doctoral research on why public projects stall, and modernised with AI where it genuinely speeds delivery and sharpens decisions.
All 8 servicesICT & AI Consulting
Practical technology advice that connects systems to strategy — and gets it implemented, not just recommended. With hands-on capability in digital transformation and agentic AI, backed by Oracle certification in Agentic AI.
All 8 servicesTraining & Certification
Building capability in your people — from foundational project skills to hands-on AI. Drawing on university lecturing in project management and a registered training practice, every programme is practical and transfers skills that stay.
All 8 servicesA rare combination, working in your favour.
Most consultants sit in one lane — the strategist who never ships, or the developer who never asks why. The value here is the overlap: certified delivery discipline, doctoral research into why projects actually stall, and a practitioner who still writes the code.
Delivery discipline, proven
A PhD in project management built on real county-project research, plus delivered government contracts. We understand why projects stall — unclear ownership, late reporting, risks nobody escalated — and what it takes to land them.
Technology that ships
From ICT strategy through to hands-on digital and agentic AI implementation. Oracle-certified in Agentic AI, we build working systems in Python with LangChain and LangGraph — not recommendations that gather dust.
We build your capability
Every engagement leaves your team stronger. Drawing on university lecturing in project management and a registered training practice, we transfer skills and documentation so results outlast us.
How a consultancy assignment runs with us.
Every consultancy assignment we take on runs through the same nine stages. It exists so you always know what happens next, what is expected of you, and what you will hold in your hands at the end. Nothing is invented mid-engagement, and nothing important is left to memory.
Enquiry & first conversation
You get in touch with the problem as you see it. We hold a short, no-obligation call to understand the situation, the pressures behind it, and whether we are the right people to help. If we are not, we say so and point you elsewhere.
Scoping & needs assessment
We dig into the real requirement — reviewing documents, budgets and prior reports, and speaking to the people closest to the work. The aim is to separate the presenting symptom from the underlying problem before anyone commits money to solving it.
Proposal & costing
You receive a written proposal setting out scope, approach, deliverables, timeline, team, fees and assumptions — plus what is explicitly out of scope. Pricing is either fixed-price or time-based, stated plainly, with no hidden extras.
Agreement & mobilisation
Once terms are agreed we sign a contract covering deliverables, payment schedule, confidentiality and data protection. We then mobilise: confirm the team, agree the reporting rhythm and communication channels, and secure access to the data we need.
Diagnostic & baseline
Before changing anything, we establish where things genuinely stand — current-state analysis, evidence gathering, and a measured baseline. This is what later lets both of us prove whether the engagement actually made a difference.
Delivery & implementation
The core of the work. We run the agreed workstreams hands-on — managing, building, advising or training as the assignment requires — with transparent progress reporting at every milestone and no surprises between them.
Quality assurance & review
Every deliverable passes an internal quality check against the agreed standard before it reaches you. You then get a formal review window to comment, and we revise. Work is not declared finished because time ran out.
Handover & closeout
We hand over the final deliverables together with the documentation, templates and know-how your team needs to carry the work forward without us. Where relevant we train the people who will own it, then close the engagement formally with sign-off.
Follow-up & evaluation
A set period after closeout we check back: did the change hold, and did it deliver what we both expected? We capture lessons honestly — including what we would do differently — and remain reachable for questions.
Built for the way you deliver.
From lean teams to funded programmes, the approach scales to the organisation in front of us.
SMEs & businesses
Getting projects done and systems working without carrying a full in-house team.
Government & NGOs
Delivering funded programmes and ICT initiatives with accountability and clean reporting.
Corporates
PMO support, digital transformation and AI adoption across complex, multi-team work.
Professionals
Individuals building project skills, preparing for certification, or learning to build with AI.
Consulting that stays until the work lands.
IvanyConcepts is the consulting practice of Ivany Concepts Limited, a Kenyan company registered in 2022 and based in Ngong, Kajiado County. We help organisations turn plans into delivered outcomes — combining structured project discipline with practical technology know-how, so strategy doesn't stall at the slide deck.
The practice is led by Dr. Julius Kipketer Leley, PhD — a project management researcher and practitioner. He holds a PhD in Project Management (JKUAT, 2026), an MBA in Project Management and a BEd, is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and is an Oracle Certified Foundations Associate in Agentic AI. His doctoral research examined how county-funded and donor-funded infrastructure projects are actually implemented on the ground — the same problem our delivery advisory exists to solve.
That background is deliberately unusual. Consultancies tend to offer either strategic advice or technical build; teaching sits somewhere else again. Holding all three means we can diagnose a delivery problem, build the system that fixes it, and leave your team able to run it.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of organisations do you work with?
County governments and national agencies, NGOs and donor-funded programmes, SMEs and corporates, and individual professionals seeking training or certification support. The approach scales to the organisation in front of us.
Are you based in Kenya, and do you work outside it?
Ivany Concepts Limited is a Kenyan registered company based in Ngong, Kajiado County, and most of our work is in Kenya. Advisory, AI development and training engagements can be delivered remotely anywhere.
How do you price consultancy work?
Either a fixed price for a defined scope or a time-based rate for open-ended advisory. Whichever applies, the figure and its assumptions are set out in writing in the proposal before any work begins.
How quickly can you start?
A scoping conversation can usually happen within a few days. From agreed proposal to mobilisation is typically one to two weeks, depending on contracting and how quickly we can access the information the work needs.
Do you actually build AI systems, or only advise on them?
We build them. Agent development is done hands-on in Python using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, with guardrails, evaluation and deployment — not slideware recommendations.
What makes IvanyConcepts different from other consultancies?
The combination: doctoral research into why public projects actually stall, delivered government contracts, and a practitioner who writes production code. Most firms have one of those three.
Have a project or a problem worth solving?
Tell us what you're trying to deliver. We'll come back with a clear, honest view of how we can help — and what it would take. The first conversation costs nothing.
